Brighton Seafront Photowalk
If you’re looking for a relaxing and enjoyable way to learn more about photography and meet other like-minded shooters this is a wonderful event to attend. This South Coast photo walk is led by an iPhotography tutor with years of experience in helping photographers improve their shots.
Brighton is well known for its beautiful preservation of Britain’s seaside tradition. But there’s much more to see! Kicking off with the historic Royal Pavillion, we will meander through the streets, embracing the fantastic celebration of diversity that Brighton has continually championed, with our cameras at the ready.
The route will also take in the sights of the Brighton Pier and funfair, the old West Pier, the Upside Down House, beach huts and i360.
Full details of the meeting point will be included in a confirmation email when you reserve your spot.
It doesn’t matter what camera equipment you have. During the photo walk, your tutor can show you what settings to use and when to make the most of a moment.
Bring along a couple of memory cards and spare batteries too. It’s up to you if you want to take your tripod and lens filters, though you might find this useful for long exposure shots of the sea.
Consider the location and the weather on the day in terms of what to wear and bring.
This leisurely Brighton seafront photo walk lasts approximately 4 hours.
During the walk, you’ll get to meet and speak to fellow photographers and find out more about what they enjoy shooting. It’s a great way of making lasting friendships and connections with other like-minded shooters, especially if you usually shoot alone.

Accessibility: Public pavements and sandy beach
Also included in this event is a private online editing session with your group and tutor. The date for this 1-hour class will be arranged after the event and be hosted via Zoom. You can show off your shots, get editing tips and get feedback from others.
