River Clyde Glasgow Photowalk
If you’re looking for a relaxing and enjoyable way to learn more about photography and meet other like-minded shooters this is a wonderful event to attend. Surround yourself in one of the most exciting cities in the UK and get lost in the photo opportunities. There are great shots on every corner.
This River Clyde photo walk will take you through some of the vibrant maritime histories of Scotland’s ‘second city’.
Starting in Glasgow Green you’ll pass by the iconic McLennan Arch, and follow along the historic River Clyde passing stunning architecture from traditional to modern until we reach our end point at the Riverside Museum.
Full details of the meeting point will be included in a confirmation email when you reserve your spot.
It doesn’t matter what camera equipment you have. During the photo walk, your tutor can show you what settings to use and when to make the most of a moment.
Bring along a couple of memory cards and a spare battery too. It’s up to you if you want to take your tripod and lens filters, simply consider the location and the weather on the day.
This River Clyde photowalk lasts approximately 4 hours.
During the walk, you’ll get to meet and speak to fellow photographers and find out more about what they enjoy shooting. It’s a great way of making lasting friendships and connections with other like-minded shooters, especially if you usually shoot alone.
Start Time: 11am
Accessibility: Public Pavements
Also included in this event is a private online editing session with your group and tutor. The date for this 1-hour class will be arranged after the event and be hosted via Zoom. You can show off your shots, get editing tips and get feedback from others.
